Caister to King George V Playing Fields Caister NR30 5ES
Turn
left out of the Haven Caister Holiday Park and continue along Ormsby
Road into the High Street.
At
the fork in the road, turn slight left into Beach Road.
Turn left onto Allendale Road - King George V Playing Fields are in
Allendale Road.
If parking is a problem you can alternatively continue
to the end of Beach Road where there is a large Pay & Display
Car Park - parking charges are approx 50p per hour
To walk from the car park to the grounds, walk back along Beach Road
and Allendale Road is then on your right.
Alternative route to Caister Playing Fields
from Haven Caister (NB:
Can be walked in approx 15 mins)
Turn left out of the Haven Caister Holiday Park and continue along Ormsby
Road.
From Ormsby Road, turn left by the Zebra Crossing and lights into Braddock
Road, then take the first right into Charles Close.
At
the T Junction in Charles Close, turn left and continue along Charles
Close straight to the bottom, where there is a large car park.
A gate takes you into the North entrance of the King George V Playing
Fields.

Playing Fields
There are no parking facilities at all at Ormsby grounds. R & T
Tours will therefore provide a shuttle coach service between Haven Caister
Holiday Parks and the playing fields at Ormsby. It will be a continual
service:

Edgar Tennant Playing Fields, Station Road, Ormsby St Margaret, Great
Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR29 3NH
Unfortunately there is no parking at all at the playing fields
- if you are using your own transport, the above address may be used
for drop off only.
The coach will leave from the side of Neptunes function suite,
Haven Caister Holiday Park, and will operate a continuous service, approximately
every 10 minutes.
