Please follow these directions to Golden Sands Holiday Park:
Turn right onto the A1031 and then after approximately 300 yards, turn
left.
Keep on the A1031
for about 6 miles, then turn left into Kents Avenue.
After 1 mile, turn
right into Meers Bank, then after half a mile, turn left into Quebec
Road, where you will find Golden Sands Holiday Park
Then:
From Golden Sands to Mablethorpe Athletic & Sherwood
FC
Turn right out of the Holiday Park. Follow Quebec Road south,
for approximately half a mile.
The ground is on the right hand side, between Loewen Cinema and the
Town Centre.
It is easy walking distance from the camp, and has access from Quebec
Road, via a pedestrian footbridge.
Please note: There is no onsite parking, and restricted street
parking. There are however paying car parks beyond the ground, in the
town. We would advise all clubs playing at Mablethorpe athletic to walk
to the grounds.
From Golden Sands to Sutton Rovers FC
Turn right out of the Holiday Park and follow the road south, past
Mablethorpe Athletic FC, for about 1 mile.
After the pedestrian crossing, turn right into the High Street.
At the traffic lights, turn left into Victoria Road. Continue to the
end of Victoria Road, and at the Eagle Hotel, follow the bend to the
left.
This road continues to Sutton on Sea (approx 3 miles).
As you enter Sutton High Street, turn left at the pelican crossing and
stay on the narrow coast road for about half a mile.
Sutton FC Rovers is on the right.
There is adequate on street parking near to the ground. Total distance
from the camp is approx 4 miles.
From Golden Sands to Tennyson School
Turn right out of the Holiday Park and follow the road south, past Mablethorpe
Athletic FC, for about 1 mile.
After the pedestrian crossing, turn right into the High Street.
Take the fourth turning on the left - Seacroft Road.
After approx 100 metres there is a pay and display car park on the right.
Park in the car park (£2.00 per day) then turn right out of the
car park and walk down Seacroft Road to the bottom of the road
(approx 450 mtrs)
Tennyson School is at the bottom of the road in Seaholme Road.
There is now NO parking at the school
site as the grounds are too soft for parking.
From Golden Sands to Theddlethorpe Playing Fields
Turn left out of the Holiday Park and drive to the end of Quebec Road.
At the end of the road, bear left onto Kent Avenue.
Follow the road to the end, and turn right towards Grimsby.
After passing the Conoco Gas terminal on the right, watch out for the
left turn, just before the right hand band.
Turn left here (Rotten Row) and continue for approx 300 yards. Follow
the sharp bend to the right.
After about 10 yards, turn right, just before the narrow bridge.
Theddlethorpe village hall and playing fields is on the right.
There is ample parking at the playing fields. Total distance from the
camp is approx 2 miles.
From Golden Sands to Kirkstead FC
Turn right out of the Holiday Park and follow the road south, past Mablethorpe
Athletic FC, for about 1 mile.
After the pedestrian crossing, turn right into the High Street.
At the traffic lights, turn left into Victoria Road. Continue to the
end of Victoria Road, and at the Eagle Hotel, follow the bend to the
left.
Follow the road towards Sutton on Sea for approx one and a half miles
and after Seacroft Holiday Park on the left, proceed for about 100 yards.
Turn right before the bus shelter - signposted Trusthorpe Springs.
Turn right again into North Road. Kirkstead FC is approx half a mile
down this road.
