We are proud to say The Bournemouth Classic has become our flagship tournament. Since its launch in 1994, it has earned a reputation as one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments in the country. Its popularity has grown to such an extent that’s it is now our most sought after resort with demand outstripping supply every year.
The parks themselves are situated in glorious woodland and have a host of facilities that will appeal to all members of the group including heated indoor pools, restaurants and entertainment, and offering a high level of accommodation and facilities that have always proved popular with our clients.
The all important football is played at Bournemouth Sports Club on a 65 acre site, which provides 14 pitches - renowned as the best in the area and used by Bournemouth FC as their training ground. With superb grounds, changing facilities, on site catering, plus grassed areas for a warm up before the match, we think you'll be impressed by what Bournemouth Sports Club has to offer.

In the last few years some of the biggest names in football have attended the Bournemouth Classic including ex Arsenal & England captain Tony Adams, Ex Chelsea Assistant manager & Sky Sports pundit Ray Wilkins, England U21 manager Stuart Pearce and Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp. In the last few years the tournament has had an international flavour with entries from Norway and
the USA.

Accommodation on offer ranges in both standard and style from basic caravans and chalets to luxurious lodges and bungalows. With some of the parks, R&T TOURS have negotiated a single unit price, based on the berth size and not the standard or specification of the individual unit, therefore we have passed on this ‘across the board’ saving to our clients. It is therefore necessary for us to retain the flexibility to allocate a variety of units to each party, which may differ both in terms of their style and standard, within the same park.
Our standard static caravans provide great value for money without comprising on quality. Each caravan holiday home has a spacious interior and is equipped with all the comforts you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Swanage Coastal Park
Swanage Coastal Park has been a real success story having been fully booked every year since we began using the park. Set in 15 acres of stunning countryside, Swanage Coastal Park provides the best of both worlds with fantastic views over the Bay and Just under a mile away are the shops and lovely sandy beach.
The on park facilities are limited offering children’s play area and laundrette with no clubhouse, pool or bar, however during your stay you can use the facilities at Swanage Bay Holiday Park (adjacent to Swanage Coastal Park) with a new restaurant, and offering cabaret and karaoke nights. Facilities also include a leisure club, along with a fantastic indoor swimming pool, (at a cost of £1.85 per child) bowling alley sauna and gym. The football venue is a 10 mile drive from Poole Harbour, but only a 5 minute ferry crossing, so we suggest you catch the ferry leaving Swanage every 20 minutes for £3.20 one way.

In the last few years some of the biggest names in football have attended the Bournemouth Classic including ex Arsenal & England Captain Tony Adams, England U21 Manager Stuart Pearce and Tottenham Hotspur Manager Harry Redknapp.
The football venue really does justify the esteemed standing of this tournament. The football is played at the acclaimed Bournemouth Sports Club on a 65 acre site, which provides 14 football pitches. This very professional set up provides a wide range of grassed areas for a warm up before the match plus an excellent clubhouse with facilities and various food outlets available for refreshments. The pitches are renowned as the best in the area and are used by Bournemouth FC as their training ground.
In the last few years the tournament has had an international flavour with entries from Norway & the USA. In 2012 the tournaments attracetd over 300 teams. We are confident the Bournemouth Classic will go from strength to strength and look forward to an even better 2013.
Tournament Format - general
The actual format of each tournament will depend on the ages and number of teams taking part, with full details being supplied as far in advance of your departure as possible. What we can tell you is that you can be sure of a well organised and planned event with every detail taken care of.
We will do our best to ensure that every team plays the maximum amount of football permitted by the FA on each day of the event in which they participate or qualify. Age groups below are general for all UK tournaments - please check the chart below for which age groups can enter your specific tournament.
U7 & U8 (non competitive) – maximum 45 minutes each day
U9, U10, U11m – maximum 60 minutes each day
U11 playing 9V9 - maximum 80 minutes each day
U11 to U16 – maximum 100 minutes each day
All girls age groups U10 - U16 will be playing as 7 a side
Girls U18 & Ladies Open Age (where applicable) - 11 a side
In most cases, teams of the same age are divided into groups (the number in each group will depend on the number of teams which enter in that age group). Teams will play a league format and in most cases the winner and runner up of each group will go through to a semi-final to determine the eventual finalists.
Due to differing qualifying dates applying in Scotland, Ireland, and Europe, these teams will play in an age group one year above their own.
Referees at our Tournaments
We have built up a nucleus of quality referees that look forward to attending our events; many have been with us since our UK tournaments began. We will provide qualified referees throughout the competition, as well as qualified assistant referees for the finals. You will therefore be asked to put forward a volunteer assistant referee for the early round matches.
Tournament Qualification
In order to qualify for our tournaments, your team must be affiliated to a County or Schools FA. We DO NOT allow Representative, Football Academy, or Schools of Excellence teams to enter. However, individual players from such teams are allowed as 'guest players' within teams who are eligible to enter the tournament.
Schedules
Football schedules, location of pitches, and all tournament information will be displayed on our website approximately 7 days prior to the start of the tournament, in the My Schedules section. It is extremely important to check this information beforehand.
First Aid at Football Venues
Injuries unfortunately can happen, and when they do it is essential to have adequate first aid cover. We provide excellent first aid cover at all football venues using the services of organisations such as St Johns Ambulance, Red Cross or other qualified paramedics.

Under Occupancy Surcharges
