With our experience as tour operators, we understand the pressures that Group Leaders are under to ensure your clubs tour runs smoothly - and that everyone has a fantastic time. To help you plan your tour, please find below all the relevant information you will need to have an enjoyable and successful tournament.

You have total peace of mind with our free consumer protection policy. We are members of ABTOT and are bonded with the CAA to hold a full ATOL license so whatever happens, your money is safe when you travel with R&T Tours.

As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), R&T Tours has provided a bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. In the event of insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages commencing in and returning to the UK and other non-flight packages excluding prearranged travel to and from your destination. Please note that packages booked outside the UK are only protected when purchased directly with R&T Tours. In the above circumstances, if you have not yet travelled you may claim a refund, or if you have already travelled, you may claim repatriation to the starting point of your non-flight package.

A provisional reservation for all UK tours can be held without deposit for four weeks from the time of the reservation with the exception of Bournemouth May Day weekend. Deposits must be paid in full by the time your provisional reservation expires. Provisional reservations cannot exceed October 31st 2012. Bookings with full deposits on a first come basis are accepted after this date. ALL provisional bookings will expire after this date.

The check in time for all the holiday parks is 4.00pm.where the group leader is in charge of collecting all the keys If you do arrive early, you can make use of the wide range of facilities available until you are able to get in to your accommodation. We normally hold a managers meeting between 5–7.00pm. This is a great way for you to meet the Tournament Officials on site. It is also very important for all the team leaders and coaches to attend as we may need to notify you of any last minute changes. After the meeting you can relax and enjoy the evening’s entertainment programme organised by your holiday park. No matches are played on the day of arrival.

Our UK tournaments are based in holiday parks at popular locations throughout the UK. The facilities and attractions vary from park to park but generally include:

• Full and varied entertainment programmes (evening & daytime)
• A wide range of free and optional sport, leisure and entertainment attractions and facilities
• Catering facilities including a bar area
• Comfortable self catering accommodation including:- Lounge area with colour TV and gas or electric fire (heating not guaranteed in bedrooms) A fully equipped kitchen with family sized cooker and fridge. Bed linen and duvets. Bath or shower room.
• A wide range of on-park facilities
• Convenient location

Accommodation on offer ranges in both standard and style from basic caravans and chalets to luxurious lodges and bungalows. With some of the parks, R&T TOURS have negotiated a single unit price, based on the berth size and not the standard or specification of the individual unit, therefore we have passed on this ‘across the board’ saving to our clients. It is therefore necessary for us to retain the flexibility to allocate a variety of units to each party, which may differ both in terms of their style and standard, within the same park. It is not always possible to keep groups together on a park and therefore, whilst we will always do our best to assist, we do not offer any guarantees in this respect. Most of the holiday parks featured offer standard or superior grade accommodation. The rates will vary dependent upon the style selected. This is reflected in our pricing, with the superior grade accommodation offered at a premium to the standard style accommodation. However, style and standard can vary within the superior accommodation provided. We can in some cases upgrade a unit free of charge; this assists us in being able to keep groups together.

Infants go Free

Infants under the age of three go free provided that they will not occupy a bed.  Thus please make sure parents bring a travel cot when children are not occupying a bed.

1 room with double bed plus 1 room with twin beds OR 1 room with double bed plus 2 foldaway single beds or 1 double foldaway bed in the lounge area.

Typical 6 Berth Accommodation
1 room with double bed plus 2 rooms each with twin beds OR 1 room with double bed plus 1 room with twin beds and 2 foldaway single beds or 1 double foldaway bed in the lounge area.

Typical 8 Berth Accommodation
1 room with double bed plus 2 rooms each with twin beds and 2 foldaway single beds or 1 double foldaway bed in lounge area.

The brochure prices for our UK tournaments DO NOT include transport. This applies to ALL journeys to and from the tournament venues and the holiday parks. It is therefore the responsibility of the group to organise adequate transport both to and from the resort and throughout the tournament. Please note that no matches are played at the holiday parks and whilst in some cases, the pitches used are relatively close by, this is not always the case and could change at short notice. We would therefore recommend that transport be available to your club at all times.

R&T Tours will not be responsible for supplying coach drivers accommodation. It is the group leader’s responsibility to arrange accommodation for their coach driver direct with the transport supplier.

Although all holiday parks featured endeavour to accommodate coaches on the holiday parks it is not always guaranteed.

Everything you need to know about the tournament will be available to view online. Group leaders only will have access to all areas of their booking and can view invoices, change team information, add or remove persons etc. All other members of the booking will have access to further booking information regarding managers meetings, presentations, football venues, directions to holiday parks and grounds, participating teams etc The schedules will be displayed 7 - 10 days prior to the start of the tournament. Some holiday parks featured in this brochure are fitted with meters in respect of the use of gas and/or electricity. R&T Tours are not responsible for any charges levied as a result.

Bed linen is provided at ALL the UK resorts featured (with the exception of Swanage Coastal Park). However, towels and kitchen towels are NOT, so please bring your own.

Please note we are extremely flexible about making amendments to your tour. You can add or subtract people from your party, make changes to your accommodation (subject to availability), or simply change names right up to 5 weeks prior to your tour arrival date. At that point however (35 days prior to your tour) we are unable to accept ANY changes to your booking. Please understand that any decrease in your booking numbers, even if they remain higher than your original booking, will result in a cancellation fee of either deposit only, up to 100% of the tour cost, depending on when the cancellation is made. We would suggest therefore that you do not add persons to your booking unless you collect a deposit fee of £25.00 per person.

The Damage Deposit guarantee is £250 per booking or £500.00 per booking for U15 & U16 teams. A damage deposit waiver form is filled in online on our website. The nominated credit card will only be debited (up to the limit specified) in the event of damage and/or loss being reported and substantiated to us by the Holiday Park concerned within three weeks of your return. Please note we are no longer able to accept cheques for the damage deposit.

Under 7s & 8s cannot play for points: no results will be collated or published, therefore no runners up or winners trophies will be awarded. Participation and best sporting team trophies will be presented however.  There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for U7 & U8 teams!

R&T Tours do not allow off-site players; any player who wishes to participate in our tournaments will have to pay full brochure price and appear on the accommodation list.

R & T Tours do not allow pets at any of our UK tournaments. Although individual parks may allow private owners to have pets on site, we as a company do not feel that it is a safe environment for young children if there are potentially a large number of animals at the park. It is also difficult to administer taking pets into our holiday parks as only a small number of units are considered ‘pet units’. We also do not allow dogs at the football grounds.

On receipt of your booking we will e mail you an information pack providing full and extensive details of every aspect of your holiday and the tournament. This information pack will hopefully answer any questions you or your party members may have as well as providing some useful guidance on how to organise a successful tour.
