The North Sea Trophy is played at the impressive De Schorre sports park in Ostend, a few kilometres from the beach and the city centre. The park has no fewer than 20 pitches, various clubhouses, canteens and a sports hall with a restaurant. Sportpark De Schorre is also the part-time home base of KV Oostende.
Ostende is known as the ‘Queen of the Belgian coast’. Almost every street ends at the beach. A buzzing boulevard with countless pavement cafés and restaurants, lively shopping streets and a vibrant nightlife make Oostende a popular destination. For anyone who wants to combine all these aspects with an international youth football tournament, Oostende is the place to be.

Accommodation is at Sunparks Resort Oostduinkereke in comfortable self catering holiday houses. The resort has a subtropical swimming pool with water slide and wave pool, several saunas, baths and massages, and is near the beach of Oostduinkerke. You'll be spoilt for choice of what to do when you're not playing football!

Best Camp Kustpark strand Westende
Kustpark Strand Westende is a nice family park along the dunes of Westende. Westende fits in the list of popular seaside resorts with Knokke in the north and Koksijde in the south. Westende is 10 kilometers from Ostend, which can be reached within 15 minutes with the famous coastal tram line. The beach promenade of Westende has a wide range of restaurants, bars, bistros, terraces and ice cream parlours. In addition to neatly furnished mobile homes, the park offers a tavern where you can eat or drink a drink and of course a “chip shop” for a tasty portion of Flemish fries.
Because of its specific location, Kustpark Strand Westende lies only 800 meters away from the beach, making it an ideal destination for a Belgian seaside holiday. Combine your football tour with a beach holiday in a luxurious mobile home with a visit to the historic city of Brugge and the amusement parks Plopaland and Bellewaerde.
The mobile homes are comfortably equipped with everything you need to make your stay easy with a furnished sitting area with TV, kitchen with hob, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen inventory, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower and a garden area.

GETTING THERE - TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Prices are based on return luxury coach travel with a pick up from your local area of the UK and include ferry fares using the Dover - Calais route. Your luxury coach remains with you for the duration of your football tour and transports you to your football tournament each day. Alternative ferry routes are available. Entrance fee: For 1 team is included. Each additional team is charged at £180 per team.
PROGRAMME:
Organiser: The North Sea Trophy is organised by VC Vamos Zandvoorde. This club was established in 1941 as Union Zandvoorde. The main goal is to offer footballing youth in the Zandvoorde-Oostende region a solid football education and important values such as respect, Motivation and commitment.
Sports Grounds: The North Sea Trophy is played at the impressive De Schorre sports park in Ostend, a few kilometres from the beach and the city centre. The park has no fewer than 20 pitches, various clubhouses, canteens and a sports hall with a restaurant. Sportpark De Schorre is also the part-time home base of KV Oostende. During the tournament, the venue will host a large tent, terrace, food and drink stalls, bumper balls, bouncy castles and a stage. The event will also include numerous other activities. The sports park is only a stone's throw from the beach and the boulevard on the Belgian coast.
Minimum of 5 matches are played with a duration of 2 x 15 minutes each way.

HOW THE PROGRAMME RUNS:
Saturday Morning: Start of the match programme. TThe tournament will be held at a large sports park with more than 20 pitches just a few kilometres from the centre of Oostende and the beach. The matches will be officiated by referees from the Belgium Football Association (KBVB).
Sunday Daytime: Continuation of the match programme. Qualification matches and finals followed by prize-giving ceremony at the sports parks. followed by a UEFA Respect ceremony.
Sunday Afternoon: UEFA Respect ceremony is held where every participant receives a medal on the podium.

Ostende offers everything you would expect from a seaside town: an expanse of sea, a beautiful beach and a boulevard jam-packed with restaurants, cafés and hotels. In addition, the area behind the boulevard is riddled with shopping streets. In short: Ostende is a seaside town with an urban flair. De Schorre sports park is a couple of kilometres away from the centre and the boulevard.

Historic Bruge is just 30 kms from Ostende and easily reachable by train (approx 15 mins). Bruge is a World Heritage Site and absolutely teems with things to look at or do. Canals, picturesque squares, bars, restaurants, shops (especially chocolate shops) - Bruges it has it all.
